Replicants
Something I forgot to mention regarding the debate about whether Deckard was a replicant: in the director's cut, Deckard has a dream about a unicorn, so the unicorn origami left in his apartment indicates that his dream was an implanted "program" just like Rachel's memories about the spiders... he's the same model replicant as Rachel, one who thinks he is human.
